Recipe Adjustment Factor is 20 Times Original Amounts (Original Amounts in parentheses.)

Kitty’s Copycat Chicken Kitchen Mustard-n-Curry Sauce

4 cups mayonnaise(10 tsp)
1/2 cup yellow mustard(1 1/4 tsp)
3 Tbs + 1 tsp curry powder(1/2 tsp)

  1. Interesting. My friend and I came up with something similar to this years ago, but it didn't taste quite right. Good, but not the same. I'll have to try this! :-)

  3. Just to let you know, my girlfriend recently tried this recipe and it's close but not really, according to her. I haven't tried it yet because usually I just go get it at the restaurant.

  4. I just tried this recipe and I felt the same "close, but not quite". It was missing something, which I found out was sugar. With the above recipe, add 4 tbsp or for the smaller batch add half a tsp, about as close as you'll get at home.

  10. Goodness, after a trip down the curry aisle left me glassy eyed, what kind of curry powder do I buy. (I bought a wide selection, and I guess trying them all will take a long time) but I love that sauce.

  11. So I just took everyones reviews and used it to make Chicken Kitchen Sauce and I think I finally got the recipe down.

I live in Minneapolis now and there is no chicken kitchen =)

As for the curry powder to use, the regular kind that just says plain curry powder on it. DOn't use Garam Masala or any of those it will change the flavor

    3.5 tbsp of mayo
    2.5 tsp of yellow mustard
    1/2 tsp hot sauce
    3/4 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp of half and half or yogurt (i used h&h)
    2 tsp of water
    1/4 tsp salt

put all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Let it sit in the fridge for a bit so that the curry powder rehydrates and gives it more flavor
